I really enjoyed using screen printing in my work to create these boldly coloured forms, however I did have lots of issues doing this at home due to the workshop being fully booked. I found some screens in my house and initially used printer paper stencils to create my prints, but this only seemed to work for one print until the paint bled through the paper. I also looked at using freezer paper as one side was shiny and so the paint wouldn't bleed through however, it was hard to stick this flat to the screen and paint often bled through the gaps. In the end I bought some photo emulsion and learnt how to expose my screens to allow me to print more accurately. This took a few attempts to get completely right but in the end I think I got it.
